Our Level Four Transmissions are designed
to be used in radical street machines featuring engines that must
be connected to extreme duty high stall converters in the 2600 to 3500
rpm range. Cars that would need this Level of Transmission build would
have steep gearing, feature very large or aggressive tires, be mini
or fully tubbed and have very stout engines with big cams, multiple
carburetion or fuel injection, blowers, nitrous
etc. These vehicles would be considered the marginally street able cars
used for mostly special occasions.
These
units feature all the special parts and machining operations of the
Level One, Level Two and Level Three units plus racing
frictions for 3/4 clutch pack & overun clutch and Kolene steels, customer's choice of ten or thirteen vane
pump, a 300M anchor pin and billet second gear servo, a BTO 4th gear servo and
very aggressive hydraulic line pressure programming.
