If you want to put a TH-350 or TH-400 transmission in your 1955-56 265 V8 and would like to continue using the stock starter, then this is just what youll need. Requires 168 tooth flex plate. 1957s will require 55-56 style starters. Will also work with TH700-R4 and TH200-4R transmissions. Note: Can also be used on 1957 with broken starter mounts. Made in the USA.
