Use your factory-installed console shifter when the Powerglide Transmission is replaced with a newer 4-speed overdrive TH700-R4, TH200-4R, or 4L60E Transmission. This kit retains the rod linkage. The conversion includes a new laser cut and hardened detent for proper stops and gear selection, a new cable mount bracket, which bolts to the shifter base, a cable pin to connect the cable to the shifter handle, all necessary hardware and instructions.
